It's been a while since I last updated. A lot has happened since the last post. Last Friday my husband and I found out that the place we both work will be closing next summer. Right now I don't know what we are going to do. He is looking for another job, but I don't think I will until after this summer. I am glad that we have a lot of time to find other jobs.
I really haven't done much this week. Zane was sick again Monday and stayed home from school. Tuesday he had a snow day so he had a really long weekend. Wednesday I
went shopping and got a lot of stuff for my friend, Patty. Her house burned down and she lost everything. Yesterday I took it to her. Curtis took me out for supper last night. I wasn't feeling very good or I would have colored my hair with
Kool-Aid when I got home. Today Zane was out of school for a teacher in service day. We went to the mall and shopped for a new pair of shoes for him and me, but we didn't find any we liked. We did find some great deals at Old Navy. Sometimes shopping and finding great buys makes your day a lot better so I decided to take pictures of what we bought and how much each cost.

This is for my
niece,
Kylee. $0.97 reg. $16.50

Another dress for
Kylee. $0.97 reg. $19.50

A vest for Curtis or ME. $0.97 reg. $49.50

A sweater for me. $0.97 reg. 34.50

Swim shorts for Zane. $9.37 reg. $12.50
I spent under $15 on stuff that would have been over $132 if it wasn't on clearance. Of course I wouldn't have bought it if it wasn't marked down. Anyway, it feels good to save that much money.
Zane is a going to a birthday party tomorrow at a hotel with an indoor pool. They are going to go swimming and have pizza and cake. That is why I had to get the swim shorts.
I guess that is enough for today. I will try to update again soon.
